Refund policy

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, all approved returns are eligible for store credit only. Refunds will not be issued in the form of cash, credit/debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or bank transfer.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return, unless a longer return or withdrawal period applies under applicable law.

To be eligible for a return under our standard return policy, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, contact us for approval at hello@bixandmax.com. Once approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless applicable law requires otherwise. We strongly recommend using a shipping method with tracking, as we are not responsible for packages lost in transit. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us as soon as possible if an item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection laws for defective, damaged, or nonconforming goods.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Personalized items and products made specifically to your specifications cannot be returned, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Under our standard return policy, we do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards. This does not limit any return, withdrawal, refund, or other rights provided by applicable law.

 

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to get a different item is to return the item you have and, once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

European Union 14-day right of withdrawal

If merchandise is shipped to a consumer in the European Union and the statutory right of withdrawal applies, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving your goods, without providing a reason.

To exercise this right, contact us at hello@bixandmax.com within the 14-day withdrawal period and clearly tell us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase.

After notifying us of your decision to withdraw, you must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless applicable law requires otherwise.

You may inspect the goods as you reasonably would in a retail store to determine their nature, characteristics, and fit. You may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.

For an eligible statutory withdrawal, we will reimburse amounts required by applicable law, including the purchase price and, where applicable, the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the order. Any additional delivery costs resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method are not refundable.

Reimbursement will be made without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days after the day you notify us of your decision to withdraw. Reimbursement will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree to another method. We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or you provide proof that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

This statutory EU right of withdrawal is an exception to our standard store-credit-only return policy. Certain products, including goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized, may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where permitted by law.

These withdrawal rights are separate from any rights you may have concerning defective or nonconforming goods.

Store Credit

For returns handled under our standard return policy, we will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know whether the store credit was approved.

If approved, store credit will be automatically applied to your customer account within 10 business days. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at hello@bixandmax.com.
